Visit Lichfield is inviting you to embrace the autumn season with your youngsters this October half term, on a Hideous History tour.
The tour includes the grisly story of Lichfield’s Market Square and Guildhall Cells in a style most suitable for 6 to 11 year-olds, but everyone is welcome.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Councillor Iain Eadie, Lichfield District Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Development, said: “Come and learn about Lichfield’s gruesome past on the Hideous History tour.
“It’s a fun activity for all the family to enjoy during the half term break.”
Tour Guide Sarah Dale said: “Take a walk on the dark side – Lichfield’s history is fascinating and can send a shiver up your spine.”
The 90-minute tours are available at 2pm on Tuesday 25 October and Wednesday 26 October and cost £6 per person.
